FAQ's

The name of the game is to find and scan the hidden TRSRE sticker planted at each hunt location. Complete the hunt by scanning the sticker to win the TRSRE coins. Each coin is an entry into the monthly prize raffles.

Select the hunt you wish to join, either on the map or from the nearest hunts on your app homepage. Scroll down and select 'Join the hunt'. Now you're ready to go find and scan the TRSRE.

Each TRSRE coin you earn from completing a hunt is an entry into the monthly prize draws. Each month players are selected at random to win a prize. So the more coins you win, the more entries to the prizes.

Make sure you have location activated in your phone settings to make the most of TRSRE. Otherwise you will not see your location on the map or your nearby hunts and it will default your location to Manchester. Don't worry, location is only used to show your nearby hunts and is not stored or monitored in any way.

Some of the hunts are tricky and well hidden, but sometimes the stickers are removed, or the whole object they're on is removed. To report a hunt select the Thumbs Down icon on the hunt to send us a message. We monitor recent scans so can advice whether the hunt has gone or if you need to look a bit harder...

To search outside your radius, head to the map search page and type in a new location. Tip: A secret trick is to type 'Pirate' as your location. This will show al hunts around the UK but may make the map run slower due to the volume of hunts.

There are hundred's of free and paid hunts around the UK. The paid hunts are 'premium' hunts where you will win more coins for your coin score and prize entries.

Some hunts contain secret hidden 'Jewels' which you will win and display on your profile if you complete a Jewel hunt. They're often at key areas nearby...

You can subscribe to TRSRE for the best value way to enter hunts. We offer 4 subscriptions packages each giving access to free premium hunts. Head to your > Profile > Settings > Subscriptions to choose a new subscription tier.

If a hunt is missing you can report it using the Thumbs Down icon. If the hunt is missing it will be deactivated until replaced and you will be awarded the coins once confirmed. If it is a premium hunt, you will be refunded any paid entries or clues.

If a TRSRE sticker barcode is damaged or won't scan, you can manually enter the TRSRE code by pressing the Keyboard icon. <strong Tip: in direct sunlight hold your camera scanner at an angle to the sticker to catch it.

There are two leaderboards; a monthly leaderboard showing the top hunts that month, where the top 3 will win a prize. Then an overall leaderboard of the all-time top hunters.
